For those of you that haven't seen a demonstration:

Use thin metals pots. I prefer stainless steel. Put lid on it. Cover connection of pot and lid with wide tape and spray with black BBQ spray paint. A thin black pot will attract and hold the heat.



**What I haven't shared is how to cook potatoes:

Cut in half and oil if desired.

Wrap half potato in foil. (Do this for all of them).

I attended the Emergency Preparedness Event 9/17/09. Good turn out! Luke's ovens were intriguing! Imagine cooking with a bucket and a windshield screen!!
